For anyone who cares to know or is just too bored and needs something to read here's my story so far:
I've been drawing since I was 2 years old. I remember myself, as a kid, always drawing something, filling sketchbook after sketchbook. I used to draw with color markers, pens, pencils, colored pencils, watercolors, crayons e.t.c. Drawing was just a way of expressing myself and nothing more, at the time, I wasn't taking it seriously at all...I even got accepted to an art school once, which was offering free drawing/painting lessons, but after attending to 3 or 4 lessons I got bored with it and quitted...:S
As I was growing up I skipped from drawing on sketchbooks to drawing on notebooks and school books, mostly with pens. Drawing was losing ground among my other interests year after year until almost a year ago when I came across with some time lapse digital painting videos on youtube. I was amazed by the level of awsomeness that an artist could achieve without even "getting his hands dirty"! That was my style, period!
So I thought I should give it a try...
I bought my tablet around April 2010 and since then I've seen and read hundreds of drawing/painting tutorials/tips, I've spent many hours studying human anatomy, proportions, muscle structure, practicing on values e.t.c. The great thing is that all that practice has paid off! In a period of a few months my drawing skills have improved significantly! Now I draw and practice as much as I can, whenever and wherever.
